Come celebrate National Senior Health and Fitness Day with us on Wednesday, May 31! We will be joining over 150,000 older adults throughout the country who will be participating in this special event. This year’s theme is “With Movement…There’s Improvement!” and there are plenty of ways to get you moving here at the Center! Whether it’s Zumba, line dancing, yoga, tai chi, water aerobics or chair/stand up aerobic classes, there is something for everyone!
We will begin our Functional Fitness/Silver Sneakers Classic class at 10AM. Afterwards we will be presenting our annual Wayne Senior Center Fitness Awards at 10:45AM. The first award, the Senior Center Fitness Award, will go to the person who has been most dedicated to improving their health through the morning exercise program. Our second award, the WSC Fitness Cup, will go to our Fitness Center member who has proven their dedication to his or her workout. Healthy refreshments will follow. Please join us as we celebrate your commitment to maintain and improve your health and fitness.
